BASIC FUNCTION: The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar and performs the duties according to Resort policies and procedures.

Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
One year certificate from college or technical school or 4 years current related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment and to work in the Casino in a non-sensitive area.
Must possess a valid employee alcohol permit.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems under pressure conditions.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be able to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must be hands-on.
Must always present a hospitality mentality-warm and generous.
Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides attentive and friendly service to customers.
2. Takes orders from customers, bar waiter/waitress, and service personnel.
3. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
4. Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
5. Collects money for drinks served.
6. Operates, balances, and reconciles cash till and POS sales.
7. Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
8. Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
9. Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
10. Prepares appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats.
11. Replenishes bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts.
12. Monitors consumption of alcohol by guests.

14. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change.
15. Performs other related reasonable duties capable of performing as requested by Management.
