Position Overview
KN Excavation is looking for a dependable, hardworking VAC Truck Driver/Operator to join our team. Our VAC trucks are used for hydro excavation, utility work, potholing, daylighting, and other excavation-related services.
No VAC truck experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right person who has a good work ethic and is willing to learn.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Tanker Endorsement required
- Clean driving record
- Must be dependable and safety-minded
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Construction experience is a plus, but not required
- VAC truck experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work
- Must be able to follow directions and safely operate equipment
Job Duties
- Safely operate VAC trucks and related equipment
- Assist with hydro excavation and utility excavation
- Perform potholing/daylighting of underground utilities
- Load, transport, and dispose of materials as required
- Perform daily truck and equipment inspections
- Maintain required DOT paperwork and daily logs
- Keep equipment clean and properly maintained
- Work safely around excavation sites, utilities, and other construction equipment
- Assist the crew with general labor and jobsite duties when needed

We don't necessarily need someone who already knows how to run a VAC truck. We need someone who wants to learn, shows up, works hard, and takes pride in their work.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
