Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers, POS systems, and 10-key typing.
- Handle cash drawer management, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling daily sales.
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and assisting with loan processing or collections as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, data entry tasks, and customer interactions to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to keep the store inviting and organized.
Requirements
- Previous retail store experience or familiarity with retail sales environments is preferred.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial software use.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience with banking or financial services is a plus, especially related to retail lending or loan collections.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- Competency in processing cash transactions, managing cash drawers, and performing cashiering duties.
- Knowledge of financial software systems and proficiency in math are highly desirable.
