Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00AM – 5:00PM (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed.
Job Summary
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a candidate to provide administrative support for the department. This position works directly with the Chief of the Division and additional surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers.
The administrative assistant will be the primary contact for all entities – both inside and outside UK Healthcare. The successful candidate must have good interpersonal skills, knowledge of university and KMSF guidelines and be very attentive to detail.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); Strong Communication skills; Detail-Oriented; Organizational skills.

Preferred Education/Experience
Previous work experience in accounting, office, clerical and/or administrative roles.
