Duties
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers, answering questions about products and usage
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on effects, benefits, and proper consumption methods
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance their experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product freshness and availability
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding age restrictions and product handling
Requirements
- Female Budtender Preferred
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for remote inquiries or follow-ups
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory tracking
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail operations within a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
