Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
- Implement ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support clients in various environments such as homes, schools, or community settings by applying behavioral management strategies.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in care plans.
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience collecting behavioral data accurately in home-based or clinical settings.
- Demonstrated ability to implement individualized care plans while maintaining ethical standards and client confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
