ENS Electric is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 2 plus years of licensed, journeyman-level experience to join our team in West Olive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial electrical systems. Experience with generator installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in both residential and commercial environments.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Michigan state/local regulations.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Install and service residential and commercial standby generator systems (preferred).
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of Michigan).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
- Proven experience working in both commercial and residential electrical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes.
- Experience with generator systems is a major plus.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
