Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain the appropriate stakeholder relationships to enable the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process within and across Corporate Departments.
- Translate business strategy into sourcing strategies; partner with the Global Sourcing Category leaders to evolve strategies over-time
- Influence Global Sourcing center of excellence category strategies to reflect requirements by offering feedback and requirements from the business units
- Take and transfer the expertise from the global centers of excellence and optimize the business unit's spend to drive competitive advantage
- Partners with key Corporate spend owners and FP&A to lead strategic planning of third-party engagements. Collaborates with FP&A team to ensure approved spend for initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance and support business development. Escalates non-compliance and delivers cost savings and overall vendor quality.
Integration / Broker of Center of Excellence Services / Feedback Loop
- Ensure the Global Sourcing CEO strategies from the center work for Corporate
- Be the single point of contact that behaves as a feedback loop between global and local; ensure two-way feedback is happening
- "Voice of the customer”; customers of the COEs
- Deliver valuable business support and broker the services of the COE and SSCs
Process Alignment & Compliance
- Identify improvements relative to operating procedures and products
- Own process alignment and raise deviations from the global standards, practices, processes, etc.
- “Think Global”, “Fit Local”
- Ensure decision-making processes are aligned with local and global; update process mapping as required to drive clarity in interactions, exchanges, decision-rights & thresholds.
Qualifications:
- Critical Experiences | Competencies | Abilities
- Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years of global sourcing & procurement experience
- Certification in Procurement such as CPSM or CSCP, preferred
- Ability to influence senior executives to drive decisions
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract processes
- Strong understanding of Business Priorities
- Skilled in prioritization discussions, negotiations and establishing the appropriate balance between Global and Local
- 'Account management' behaviors required
- Proven written and oral communicator, with strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills to act as an effective change agent, unlocking barriers to value for priority spend categories
- Expert negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations
- Strong project management skills, including adhering to stakeholder timelines, and meeting management skills
- Extensive knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms
- Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization, and works easily in multi-business unit project settings; able to facilitate teamwork across corporate boundaries
Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
