Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support operational needs.
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety standards for guests and staff alike.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to guarantee availability for guest needs.
- Assist with custodial tasks related to trash removal, window cleaning, and general upkeep of the facility’s cleanliness.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Familiarity with laundry processes and hotel housekeeping management practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments that emphasize cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for supporting overall guest comfort when needed.
