Overview
We are seeking qualified, dedicated and passionate early educators to join our team! The ideal candidate will have an early childhood education degree and experience working with young children in a childcare setting and possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. As a preschool teacher or floater, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development of our students. Starting pay will be based on position, experience, and education, with higher levels of pay for individuals with a degree. We are seeking an Infant Room Lead Teacher, a 2-yr-old Room Lead Teacher, and a 3/4-Year-Old Room Lead Teacher. We are also seeking a 2-yr.-old Room Assistant Teacher, and 2/3-yr-old-Room Assistant Teacher. Lastly, we are seeking 4 full-time Floaters who will work with all children in infant-pre-k classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Facilitate activities that promote learning and skill development across all domains (cognitive, emotional-social, language & literacy, and physical).
- Observe, document, and assess children's developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
Skills/Qualifications
- Preschool Lead Teachers - 2/4 Yr. ECE Degree Required
- Assistant Teachers - EDU 119 Required
- Floater - Early Childhood Coursework and/or Experience Required
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and early intervention strategies for young learners.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential.
