Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contributing to the beautification and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Cover and protect surfaces not being painted, such as floors, furniture, and trim.
- Clean up work areas and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the quality of the finished product.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience.
- Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work on ladders and scaffolding.
