Prime Health Family Practice is a newly established Primary Care/ Health and Wellness Clinic. Our goal is to provide the most exceptional care in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere.
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with commitment to patient safety and patient satisfaction to join our team. The ideal candidate is pleasant with a positive demeanor and able to work well under pressure.
Clinical Tasks:
- Taking vital signs
- Provide patient care by assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Administering injections
- Administering medications
- Specimen Collection-Phlebotomy
- Performing EKG
- Sterilizing instruments
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Facilitate efficient patient flow throughout practice. Put forth a high level of energy and attention on ensuring that each patient has the most comfortable and convenient experience possible.
- Assist with medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical billing and coding.
- Maintain exam room stock levels an perform routine maintenance of exam rooms, to include instruments, gauze, other supplies, and patient handouts, disinfecting the room between patients, etc.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques.
- Experience in providing patient care and performing clinical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with EHR: Practice Fusion.
