Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Broker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the movement of goods and services while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and FDA regulations. Your expertise will help streamline operations and enhance our service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of freight to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and clients to optimize logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant industry guidelines.
- Conduct regulatory reporting and maintain accurate documentation for all transactions.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues in the supply chain.
- Oversee fleet management activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, compliance status, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance transportation management processes.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and compliance management practices.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with risk management principles in a transportation context.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
