Role Summary
Our expanding manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Mold Setter to assist with our high-volume plastic molding production. In this active, hands-on position, you will manage mold changeovers, configure production machinery, and ensure that all equipment operates safely and productively to satisfy our manufacturing timelines. Available Shifts
Core Duties-
Execute mold changeovers with speed and safety to keep production on track

Configure molding machinery and supplemental equipment for upcoming production cycles

Confirm that all equipment functions within the required process specifications

Initiate machine startups post-changeover to ensure the line is ready for immediate production

Resolve setup and processing complications to help decrease equipment idle time

Examine tooling and hardware for signs of degradation to ensure team safety and equipment longevity

Collaborate with the Production, Process, Quality, and Maintenance departments to address manufacturing challenges

Participate in routine preventive maintenance tasks during planned production breaks

Finalize setup paperwork and keep precise records of all production activities

Adhere to all established quality protocols, operational instructions, and safety guidelines

Contribute to efficiency projects aimed at shortening setup durations and boosting overall output
Qualifications-
Prior professional background as a Mold Setter in an injection molding facility

Proven history of managing mold changeovers and equipment configurations
-
Robust mechanical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities

Proficiency in the safe operation of hand tools, overhead cranes, and material handling devices
-
Familiarity with the hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems utilized in molding hardware

Capacity to interpret setup instructions and production-related documentation

Meticulous focus on detail to ensure the production of high-quality components

Capability to function autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere
Preferred Qualifications-
Background in operating high-volume plastic injection molding systems
