Job Title: Detailer / Shop Helper

Reports To: Shop Manager or Shop Foreman

Position Summary:
Nimnicht Collision Center is seeking a motivated and dependable Detailer / Shop Helper to join our team. This individual will support the collision center by ensuring vehicles are cleaned and detailed to the highest standards, while also assisting with various shop duties to maintain an efficient, safe, and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Detailing
- Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles inside and out.
- Clean interior surfaces including carpets, seats, and windows.
- Remove overspray, tape, and debris from recently repaired vehicles.
- Perform final inspections for cleanliness before vehicle delivery.
Shop Support:
- Assist technicians with moving vehicles in and out of the shop.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sweeping, trash removal, and general upkeep.
- Organize tools and supplies as needed.
- Help with parts receiving, delivery, and stocking.
- Perform minor tasks as requested by the foreman or body shop manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform tasks for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, physically active environment.
Exposure to varying weather conditions.
Use of cleaning chemicals and automotive products (PPE provided).
