We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Account Coordinator to support our Account Managers and keep projects moving forward with precision and care.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time Driver / Materials Runner to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for picking up and delivering materials, components, supplies, and finished goods between vendors, customers, and our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys being on the road while supporting a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up raw materials, components, and supplies from local vendors and suppliers.
- Deliver finished products, samples, and materials to customers as needed.
- Verify orders and ensure materials are accurately loaded, transported, and delivered.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
- Communicate delivery status and any issues to the Operations or Production team.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and general facility tasks during non-driving hours.
- Support inventory and production teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including cargo vans and light-duty trucks.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic smartphone and navigation app proficiency.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to load and unload materials from vehicles.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb as needed throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of local roads and supplier locations.
