Structured Trades is seeking experienced Commercial DX Pipefitters for commercial HVAC projects in the San Antonio area. This position is ideal for pipefitters with experience installing, brazing, and soldering copper refrigerant piping for new commercial construction. Candidates should be able to work independently, read blueprints, and produce quality work while maintaining a safe job site.
Responsibilities
- Braze and solder copper refrigerant piping for commercial HVAC DX systems
- Install, fit, and support copper piping according to project specifications
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings
- Measure, cut, prepare, and assemble copper piping
- Pressure test piping systems and identify leaks
- Work safely with torches and brazing equipment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC piping experience
- Strong experience brazing and soldering copper refrigerant piping
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with commercial new construction projects
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required
