Overview
Hibachi Bowl is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders and payments, maintaining a clean and organized front counter, and helping create a positive dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payments accurately.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, prices, and promotions.
- Prepare and package customer orders when needed.
- Verify orders for accuracy before handing them to customers.
- Handle customer concerns and communicate with the manager when assistance is needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier and dining area.
- Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, cups, sauces, and other front-of-house items.
- Assist other team members during busy periods as needed.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical duties required in a restaurant.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
