Pediatric Physical Therapist – Early Intervention
Renaissance Healthcare System Therapy is a leading provider of home- and community-based early intervention services throughout Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our growing team and support children, birth-3 years of age in reaching their developmental milestones.
Position Overview
Early intervention during the first five years of life can have a meaningful impact on a child's development. By providing individualized physical therapy and working closely with families and caregivers, you will help children build the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday activities.
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children develop and improve their gross motor skills, balance, mobility, coordination, strength, and overall physical function.
Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at Renaissance Healthcare System Therapy, you will:
- Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop appropriate strategies to support individualized developmental goals.
- Evaluate and address children's gross motor development, mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional abilities.
- Provide practical strategies and recommendations to parents, caregivers, and other members of the child's support team.
- Promote active family participation and encourage carryover of therapeutic strategies into daily routines and activities.
- Provide services in a variety of natural environments, including homes, daycares, centers, and community settings.
- Monitor and document each child's progress toward established developmental goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other members of the early intervention team to promote positive outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment strategies and progress.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
- Clear State and FBI and Child abuse Clearances
- Strong clinical, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Pediatric or early intervention experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- $90–$108 per hour
- 1099 opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling: full-time, part-time, or per diem
