Warehouse Manager

Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily organization, cleanliness, inventory, tools, equipment, vehicles, and overall operation of the company’s shop and warehouse. This position supports both Service and Installation teams by ensuring technicians have the parts, materials, tools, equipment, and properly stocked vehicles needed to complete their work efficiently. The Warehouse Manager is expected to maintain a safe, organized, accountable, and team-oriented work environment and communicate issues to the appropriate manager.
Essential Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse where parts, tools, equipment, and supplies are easy to locate and properly stored.
- Receive deliveries, verify and organize incoming materials, and identify materials designated for specific customers or jobs.
- Maintain accurate inventory in ServiceTitan, including establishing and maintaining an effective barcode/inventory system.
- Manage return-to-stock materials, job racks, parts storage, pipe racks, and scrap/recycling areas.
- Monitor regularly stocked items and communicate shortages or ordering needs to management.
- Ensure parts and materials are properly identified, stored, and available when needed.
Tools, Equipment & Vehicles
- Maintain company shop tools and equipment in clean, organized, and working condition.
- Maintain tool accountability, including tracking tools signed out to technicians and tools stored in the tool cage.
- Coordinate tool repairs, replacements, and maintenance with management.
- Help maintain technician van stock and ensure commonly used parts and Stanley/job boxes are replenished.
- Monitor shop vehicles and equipment for cleanliness, organization, fuel, required supplies, and maintenance concerns; communicate issues to the appropriate manager.
- Coordinate equipment availability and help prevent scheduling conflicts for shared equipment.
- Maintain equipment and trailers in a clean, ready-to-use condition and ensure appropriate storage and organization.
Daily Shop Operations & Job Preparation
- Prepare parts, materials, tools, and equipment for Service and Installation jobs scheduled for the following day.
- Work with technicians, Service, Installation, Dispatch, and management to identify upcoming material and equipment needs.
- Ensure tools, equipment, ladders, carts, tanks, keys, and other company property are returned to their designated locations.
- Maintain proper control and organization of company keys, equipment, and shared resources.
- Maintain shop grounds, parking areas, dumpsters, recycling, and general exterior cleanliness.
Safety, Standards & Accountability
- Maintain shop standards for cleanliness, organization, security, and proper storage.
- Ensure doors, storage areas, equipment, vehicles, and company property are properly secured.
- Identify damaged, missing, or unsafe tools and equipment and promptly communicate concerns to management.
- Support proper handling of scrap, recycling, cardboard, concrete, refrigerant tanks, and other materials according to company procedures.
- Promote a culture of personal responsibility, teamwork, efficiency, and “Do What You Are Supposed to Do.”
- Help ensure company shop and warehouse procedures are consistently followed by employees.
Archbold Shop
- Plan to spend approximately one to two days each week at the Archbold location performing the same warehouse, tool, inventory, equipment, vehicle, organization, and maintenance responsibilities.
- Maintain the same company standards at both locations while recognizing location-specific procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shop, inventory, HVAC/plumbing, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and maintain inventory systems such as ServiceTitan.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely lift, move, load, and organize parts, tools, and equipment.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred.
- Must be willing to adapt as company operations, facilities, and procedures change.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
