Overview of the Event Crew Member Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting the Manager on Duty set-up or tear down our event space by placing/removing tables and chairs, space-decorating items, and some light cleaning. In addition, you’ll be on-hand throughout weekend ceremonies to help ensure that each client is delivered an amazing experience for their special occasion.
We have openings for the both day and night shift. This is a weekend position with occasional opportunity for weekday day shifts. You can expect to work a 5-8 hour shift starting at $17.50 an hour.
Day Shift: 10:00AM-6:00PM
Night Shift: 8:00PM-2:00AM
Responsibilities of an Event Crew Member:
- Ensure event/room setup and breakdown are completed accurately, safely and efficiently according to event design/layout.
- Setup and/or take down tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces and other event equipment or props.
- Prep, sweep and maintain general cleanliness in the event space and VIP/conference room.
- Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal staff and external clients.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Skills & Qualifications of an Event Crew Member:
- Ability to multi-task, and act with urgency when necessary.
- Excellent listening skills and a team player.
- Full physical mobility for the entire duration of the shift such as walking, use of carts, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to safely grip, lift and carry goods weighing up 50 lbs.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions that may happen in a greenhouse space.
- Ability to be prompt to work and consistently reliable for their scheduled shifts.

There will be an option on our Night Shift to work a Dishwasher shift for a higher premium. This opportunity will rotate among staff.
