Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on behavioral health issues, crisis intervention, and addiction counseling. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting clients through their challenges while promoting overall well-being and resilience.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and counseling services to clients dealing with behavioral health issues, including crisis intervention and addiction counseling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focused on skill-building, coping strategies, and recovery.
- Engage in workforce development initiatives to assist clients in achieving employment goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide mentorship and support to interns or junior staff as needed.
- Stay informed about community resources, including Section 8 housing assistance, to aid clients in accessing necessary services.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and motivational interviewing strategies.
- Experience in addiction counseling and understanding of related recovery processes.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and resources available for clients.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
