I am looking for an energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Shift Leader and Crew Member at our popular quick-service SONIC OF TROY restaurant. This role is all about delivering fast, friendly service while managing daily operations smoothly. Responsibilities
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, maintaining consistency and adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) system "INFOR" for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures across all areas of the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management.
- Experience managing staff training, team development, and shift management tasks.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis related to restaurant operations.
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management will be advantageous for growth within the role.
