Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels, perform stock counts, and update records accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision using RF scanners, order pickers, and pallet jacks to ensure timely delivery.
- Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves efficiently and ensuring proper packaging for shipping logistics.
- Conduct shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by coordinating order fulfillment processes and assisting with trade compliance and international trade regulations when necessary.
- Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software for data entry, order processing, and logistics tracking to streamline warehouse operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and ensuring all orders are processed according to company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying shipment details accurately.
- Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and trade compliance regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
