Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team in Bakersfield. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including AC system failures and Service.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and provide estimates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all repair activities.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
- ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- AC 609 Certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
