Recreation Contract Class InstructorThis is a temporary contract position without benefits.The City of Artesia is seeking experienced and reliable Class Instructors to lead engaging, wellness-focused programs for residents. Instructors will deliver structured classes that promote community connection, personal growth, and overall well-being.
Program Focus AreasWe are especially interested in proposals that support one or more of the following pillars:
After School Programs & Day Camps
Dance, Ballet, and Cheer
Youth and Adult Sports
Teen Services
Senior Services
Pickleball and Tennis
Skateboarding
Pet-related classes and activities
Language classes or cultural enrichment
Interactive skill-building classes that encourage social connection
Class Structure- Classes are offered in seasonal or annual sessions lasting 6–10 weeks
- Classes may meet 2–5 days per week for 2–3 hours per day
- Classes will not meet on City holidays
- Schedules and offerings are subject to change based on community needs
