Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Lymphedema
Location: Fayetteville, GA
Contract: 24 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Weekend: None
Call: None
Rate: Up to $2,450. Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of OT experience

Lymphedema Certification required and must be in hand

Georgia OT license required
-
NBCOT required
-
BLS required
-
Experience with lymphedema management and splinting

Experience with adult and geriatric patients
Responsibilities & Skills

Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

Provide lymphedema management and treatment
-
Assess and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment
-
Perform splinting and orthotic management
-
Provide manual therapy and therapeutic interventions
-
Treat patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions
-
Work with patients recovering from hip and knee replacements
-
Provide patient and family education
-
Complete reassessments, progress documentation and discharge planning
-
Collaborate with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, SLPs and wound care staff
