Vive Counseling & Wellness, PLLC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our expanding private practice. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing counseling agency dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive mental health services to the Yuma community.
We are initially hiring for a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as your caseload develops. If you are passionate about helping individuals and families heal while working in a supportive and collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
Position Summary
The Licensed Clinical Therapist provides outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through in-person counseling, with telehealth services available based on client needs. The therapist is responsible for delivering ethical, evidence-based treatment while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with the Clinical Director.
This position reports directly to the Clinical Director.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following active Arizona licenses in good standing issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) under approved clinical supervision
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Applicants must also:
- Be eligible to provide behavioral health services in the State of Arizona.
- Maintain professional liability insurance.
- Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
- Successfully pass any required background screening and employment verification.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with:
- Children and adolescents
- Adults, couples, and families
- Trauma and anxiety-related disorders
- Military members, veterans, first responders, and law enforcement personnel and their families
- Diverse and multicultural populations, particularly within the Yuma community
- Spanish-speaking clients (bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required)
- Telehealth service delivery
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality individual, family, couples, and group therapy as appropriate.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with Arizona licensing regulations and professional codes of ethics.
- Collaborate with referral sources and community providers as clinically appropriate.
- Participate in clinical consultation and supervision meetings.
- Maintain productivity and documentation expectations.
- Provide in-person counseling services with the ability to offer telehealth sessions when clinically appropriate.
- Support a welcoming, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment for clients.

Compensation
This is a paid clinical position. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with licensure, experience, and qualifications. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
