Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facility construction, renovation, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects across the health system. Manages projects from concept through completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, regulatory compliance, stakeholder communication, and project documentation. Collaborates with organizational leaders, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, within budget, and in support of organizational goals while minimizing disruption to patient care and operations.
Requirements:
Education
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Project Management, or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred: Additional training in building design and construction
Experience
Minimum: Five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience involving construction, renovation, facilities, or capital improvement projects required.
Preferred: Healthcare construction or healthcare facilities management experience
Licenses/Certification
License: Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
Compensation: $85k-$105k annually
