Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and debris for a fresh look
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, including desks, countertops, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping floors
- Ability to operate carpet cleaning machines safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with environmental services practices and safety regulations related to custodial work
