Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Answer phone calls and take to go orders or provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Familiarity with Adelo POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and grace
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
