Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and service spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
- Assist with laundry duties including linen collection, sorting, and distribution to support housekeeping operations
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times
- Support janitorial tasks like waste removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning protocols meet quality standards and guest expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards and safety procedures in a custodial environment
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
