Garage Door Fulfillment Specialist (Warehouse & Field Technician)
Position Summary: The Garage Door Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and completing assigned service, repair, and installation jobs in the field. This role is divided into two core functions: maintaining an organized, accurate warehouse environment and executing assigned jobs with professionalism and precision.
All jobs are assigned and materials are provided. Your responsibility is to support warehouse efficiency and execute field work to company standards.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring organization, mechanical ability, and accountability.
Part A: Warehouse Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse at all times
- Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and deliveries
- Use computer systems to track, update, and manage inventory levels
- Pull, stage, and prepare all materials and parts needed for upcoming jobs
- Ensure job packets/materials are complete, correct, and ready on time
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with audits
- Coordinate with office staff and technicians to ensure smooth job flow
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or low-stock items
- Maintain clear labeling and logical organization of all inventory
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications (Warehouse Focus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (this is critical)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets, email)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs)
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to backup and hook up trailers
- Ability to drive forklift
Part B: Fulfillment (Field Technician) ResponsibilitiesField Service & Installation
- Complete garage door and commercial door installations, repairs, and service for assigned jobs
- Review job details prior to arrival to understand scope and expectations
- Diagnose and resolve issues encountered on-site
- Adapt to unexpected challenges and problem-solve in real time
- Ensure all work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
Job Execution & Communication
- Confirm appointments and communicate with customers as needed
- Provide updates if issues or delays arise
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and any job changes
- Communicate with office staff regarding job status and completion
Equipment & Vehicle Responsibility
- Maintain and organize assigned service vehicle and tools
- Ensure all provided materials are accounted for and used appropriately
- Report missing, damaged, or additional material needs
Additional Requirements (Field Role):
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned jobs without supervision
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Problem-solving mindset—ability to think on your feet
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience in garage doors, construction, or mechanical trades preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
