Progressive, Play-Based School
We’re looking for a warm, caring, and collaborative Part-Time Teacher Assistant to join our progressive, play-based school community.
Our school values child-led exploration, creativity, connection, and joyful learning. We are seeking someone who enjoys working alongside children and is excited to support a classroom environment where children are encouraged to wonder, discover, and grow at their own pace.
In this role, you will:
- Support our Lead Teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, activities, and classroom organization
- Engage thoughtfully with children through play, conversation, exploration, and hands-on experiences
- Help prepare and maintain classroom materials and learning spaces
- Support individual children’s needs with patience, warmth, and respect
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers and other members of our school community
- Contribute to a positive classroom culture grounded in respect, inclusion, and connection
