Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP/NP) – Part-Time / Per Diem

Compensation: $80–$90 per hour
About Suffolk Primary Health
Suffolk Primary Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP/NP) to join our growing pediatric team in the Five Towns. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking flexible supplemental hours in a busy, well-established pediatric practice.
The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric clinical experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Availability for Sunday and evening coverage is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Conduct sick visits, well-child exams, and follow-up appointments
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within eClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active New York Nurse Practitioner license
- Pediatric experience required
- Prior outpatient pediatric office experience strongly preferred
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) required
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Availability to work Sundays and evening shifts as needed
