We are seeking seeking an experienced sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. This position will source new sales opportunities and close sales. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products.
Responsibilities
· “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (in-person, cold calling, e-mail campaigns, etc.)
· Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
· Recommend new products based on customer feedback and market research
· Build productive, long lasting relationships with customers
· Meet personal and team sales targets
· Research new accounts and generate or follow through on sales leads
· Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Requirements
· Proven sales experience
· Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
· Computer use competency
· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Self motivated and driven
Experience in the lumber or construction industries is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
