We are a fast-paced, patient-focused dental practice seeking a dedicated, organized Sterilization Technician to join our team. As our Sterilization Tech, you will be the backbone of our clinical operations, ensuring our instruments and equipment are immaculate, safe, and ready for use
- Instrument Processing: Collect, clean, decontaminate, and sterilize all dental instruments using ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict OSHA, CDC, and practice safety standards.
- Room Turnovers: Assist with efficiently cleaning and setting up operatories between patients.
- Supply Management: Monitor and stock sterilization supplies, PPE, and dental materials.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and biological monitoring on sterilization equipment.
- Basic Dental Assisting: Assist the dentist during basic procedures by passing instruments and using suction (HVE/saliva ejector).
Qualifications:
- Experience: We would like someone with 1-2 years of dental assisting or sterilization experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Certifications: Active X-Ray certification or knowledge in taking x-rays, CPR certification.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge: Understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols is a plus.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
