Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished products within the facility
- Assist with assembly line tasks, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly and maintenance tasks
- Conduct quality checks on products during various stages of manufacturing to maintain high standards
- Support inventory management by organizing materials and supplies in the warehouse or storage areas
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred, with familiarity working on assembly lines or with hand and power tools
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for understanding machinery and assembly processes
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort with material handling equipment and inventory procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
