About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a young female who is nonverbal and loves to be out in the community! She loves going for car rides to the store and mall. If given a task to complete on the outing, she is even happier! This individual is very food motivated and loves praise when completing a task! She is working on self care and self-help skills. She does great with one task at a time and loves to be around peers her own age and adults! This individual does not always get along with little kids. She will need assistance with the restroom and help with changing of clothes if needed. She enjoys puzzles and loves having books read to her! She has a lot of energy and loves big hugs so be ready for fun and being outdoors in the nice weather!!
Certifications: CPR preferred
Language: English
Schedule: 10-15 hours a week. Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am-3:00pm with the potential for more hours over breaks.
Pay: $20-$22 per hour
