JobsRUs.com is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative to support our Michigan region. This role is ideal for someone based near, or willing to travel throughout, the Detroit metro area who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
Schedule: MondayFriday, 40 hours/week
Work Type: Hybrid (Remote/In-Field)
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing new business opportunities while building strong client relationships. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a consultative sales approach to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and outreach to prospective and existing clients
Schedule and conduct client meetings to present staffing services and solutions
Develop and execute territory-specific business development strategies
Build, maintain, and manage a strong sales pipeline
Identify client needs and close new business using a consultative approach
Meet daily and weekly activity goals to achieve individual gross margin targets
Cross-sell additional staffing solutions across assigned markets
Qualifications Skills:
Previous business development experience required (staffing industry experience preferred)
Proven success in sales strategy execution and closing deals
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Highly motivated, organized, and results-driven
