Job Title: Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials over short and long distances while operating a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, skid loaders and more.
Duties:
- Drive trucks to transport and deliver materials to various locations
- Follow planned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including basic automotive repairs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
- Communicate effectively with Supervisor and team members
- Ensure the security of the cargo during transit
- Operate Skid loaders, small excavators and other equipment used for our company
Skills:
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers
- Experience in delivery driving and route driving
- Ability to operate forklifts, skid loaders and other necessary equipment
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Basic understanding of automotive repair techniques
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Must be available to work 40-50 hrs per week, including Saturdays
