Responsibilities:
Provides advice in highly complex audit matters and participates in large scale business projects typically on an area of expertise. Supervise and provide direction and training to other staff while developing financial models. Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues. In the absence of formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy. Provide finance and accounting support for potential acquisitions and or ongoing major projects. Can include reviewing data room material, identifying potential financial accounting issues, financial reporting impact of these issues under various acceptable statutory accounting practices (e.g. US GAAP) as well as reviewing financial models to ensure appropriate presentation of accounting treatment and accuracy of financial models; Assist the Energy Accounting, Pipeline Accounting and Financial Reporting groups with financial research and analysis for special projects as well as financial statement review;.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline required; Finance or Accounting Designation Required (CFA, CPA, Etc.).
Experience: 10 to 15 years
