Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. As a General Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Test driving vehicles and assisting in trouble shooting client vehicle concerns.
- Perform digital inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
- Tire Installation and Wheel Alignments
- Utilization of Scan Tool testing and vehicle resets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by performing repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks including tire service and oil changes.
- Previous work experience at an automotive repair facility is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
