RED Elite Cheerleading is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and dependable Tumbling Coach to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, has experience in cheerleading, gymnastics, or tumbling, and can safely teach athletes from beginner through advanced skill levels.
Our coaches are positive role models who create a fun, challenging, and encouraging environment while emphasizing proper technique, safety, and athlete development.
Responsibilities
- Teach tumbling classes for athletes of various ages and skill levels.
- Safely instruct and spot athletes while following proper skill progressions.
- Develop lesson plans that improve strength, flexibility, technique, and confidence.
- Provide individualized feedback to help athletes achieve their goals.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and disciplined class environment.
- Prioritize athlete safety and proper equipment use at all times.
- Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Assist with evaluations, team placements, clinics, camps, and special events as needed.
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to coach each class.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics, or related sports preferred.
- Knowledge of tumbling progressions and safe spotting techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate fundamental tumbling skills.
- Experience working with children ages 3–18 preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, spot, and actively coach throughout scheduled classes.
- Ability to safely demonstrate and assist with tumbling skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when spotting athletes.

- Afternoon and evening availability required
- Flexible scheduling based on class assignments
