Job Summary
Team LLC is seeking a licensed mental health professional (LMHP) to serve as a Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Clinician. The LMHP provides clinical oversight, completes crisis assessments, and works collaboratively with QMHP staff responding to behavioral health crises in the community.
The LMHP plays a key role in determining appropriate levels of care, ensuring clinical quality, and supporting QMHP staff in providing effective crisis stabilization services. The goal of Mobile Crisis Response is to stabilize individuals in crisis, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and connect individuals with appropriate ongoing behavioral health supports.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in crisis assessment, risk evaluation, and clinical decision-making, with a commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Crisis Assessment
Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments for individuals experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.
Determine level of care needs including community stabilization, outpatient services, or hospitalization.
Provide clinical direction and consultation to QMHP staff responding to crisis calls.
Complete diagnostic impressions and clinical recommendations based on assessment findings.
Develop safety plans and crisis stabilization plans in collaboration with the individual and support system when appropriate.
Clinical Oversight and Support
Provide clinical guidance and support to QMHP staff delivering direct crisis response services.
Review clinical documentation and ensure services meet DBHDS and DMAS requirements.
Participate in supervision and case consultation with crisis response staff.
Support quality improvement and ensure adherence to program policies and clinical standards.
Crisis Intervention
Respond to behavioral health crisis situations in the community when clinically necessary.
Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based crisis intervention strategies.
Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, Community Services Boards, and other partners to ensure safety and continuity of care.
Documentation and Compliance
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Ensure assessments, safety plans, and recommendations meet regulatory standards.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, DBHDS, and DMAS requirements.
Participate in program audits, reporting, and quality assurance activities.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with QMHP staff, nurses, dispatch, and clinical leadership.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training.
Maintain effective communication with referral partners, families, and community providers.
Qualifications
For LMHP (Licensed Mental Health Professional):
Must meet Virginia LMHP criteria including one of the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
