We are seeking a candidate with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience and prior management experience who is willing to work weekends and is dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations and staff
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds
- Maintain a clean, odor-free environment in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations
- Manage department operations within budget guidelines
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, training, and staff development
- Train and onboard new housekeeping employees
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety procedures
- Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and supply needs promptly
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
- Respond to call lights promptly when in resident care areas
- Assist with admissions, re-admissions, and room transfers
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and leadership
- Attend required meetings and in-service trainings
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
