About the Opportunity
We are launching a new residential pest control company in the Smoky Mountain area and are looking for an experienced, licensed pest control professional to become our first key hire.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants MORE than a traditional pest control technician position. You will help build the operation from the ground up and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the company expands with incentive payouts.
We already have an established starting customer base through an affiliated property management company and plan to aggressively grow our residential recurring-service business throughout the Knoxville market.
What You’ll Do
· Serve as the company’s licensed pest control operator and help ensure compliance with Tennessee requirements
· Perform and oversee residential general pest and rodent control services
· Help establish treatment protocols, safety procedures and operating standards
· Manage pesticide inventory, documentation and regulatory requirements
· Provide excellent service to our initial portfolio of properties
· Help train and supervise additional pest control technicians as the company grows
· Assist with routing, scheduling and quality control
· Identify opportunities for additional pest control services
· Work directly with ownership to build an efficient, scalable pest control operation
What We’re Looking For
· Current Tennessee GRC (General Pest and Rodent Control) license REQUIRED.
· Commercial pesticide certification as required by Tennessee
· Previous residential pest control experience
· Strong understanding of Tennessee pest control regulations and compliance
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Strong communication and customer-service skills
· Dependable, organized and comfortable working independently
· Leadership ability and interest in eventually managing a team
· Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about helping build a new company
Compensation
Base salary + performance incentives
Incentive opportunities can be tied to:
· Growth in recurring customers
· Company revenue milestones
· Customer retention
· Technician/team performance
· Overall profitability
As the company grows, there will be significant opportunity for increased compensation and advancement into a senior operations/management position.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This isn’t a typical technician opening.
You’ll be joining at the ground level of a new company backed by an ESTABLISHED LOCAL property management operation with an existing portfolio of properties.
Our goal is to build a substantial recurring residential pest control business throughout the Smoky Mountain area, and we’re looking for the right person to help us build and lead the field operation.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
