RS Automation is seeking candidates for the following rolls:
- Experienced Haas CNC Machinist
- Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist Operator
- Toolmaker Machinist for Haas Vertical Mills and or Prototrak Mills
- Toolmaker / Manual Machinist
- Experienced Swiss Machinist
Must be available to work day shift hours
RS Automation is a local Automation Machine tool / Automated Machine Manufacturer that is in Albion NY. We are a successful established firm who designs and manufactures automated machinery and automated process control systems. We are in search of experienced individuals to join our professional team. You will utilize current skills and implement new skills from surrounding peers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Machine part details complete, with minimal supervision.
· Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
· Uses precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.
· Reads and interprets blueprints
· Inspect manufactured components for conformance to specifications using bench gauging.
· Perform maintenance tasks to maintain machinery performance and prevent machine downtime.
· Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
· Follow all safety rules and regulations.
· Welding Tig and Mig a plus.
· Master Cam, Fusion, PartMaker, Cad Cam, G-Code Experience a plus 3, 4, and 5axis programming/machining a plus
· Plasma or waterjet experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work with others within a skilled work force environment.
· Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Moderate twisting and bending.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 5 or more years Manual Toolmaker/ CNC Lathe Machinist/ CNC Horizontal Boring Mill/CNC Mill Machinist/ Swiss Machinist
· Self-starter.
· Excellent mathematical skills.
· Good written and verbal skills.
· Basic computer skills.
· Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, shop travelers, etc.
· Ability to use/setup various measuring devices
· Forklift operation experience is beneficial
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Strong work ethic
· Good attendance record
