Job Description 1: The Governance Gatekeeper - Senior Manager, Environment Governance & SAP Change Control
Summary
Are you a high-energy, proactive IT governance professional who thrives on ownership? We are a Fortune 50 Global MedTech leader executing a multi-billion dollar SAP ecosystem transformation. We are seeking a relentless, self-motivated Senior Manager of Environment Governance & SAP Change Control to act as the ultimate gatekeeper of our system integrity.
This is not a passive administrative role. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of system environments, technical change governance, and deployment execution across a massive global footprint. For the right candidate, this is an unparallelled opportunity to work with one of the top Global companies and among the best teams in the world.
Who You Are (The "Chaser" Mindset)
- A Self-Starter with Zero Hand-Holding: You do not wait for instructions or ask leadership to clear your administrative paths. On Day 1, you own your onboarding timeline and take charge right away.
- High-Energy & Relentless: You have the tenacity to hunt down cross-functional teams, challenge development factories when compliance isn't met, and drive alignment across multi-billion dollar business tracks.
- Process Disciplined yet Agile: You understand that rigid compliance protects systems, but speed keeps the business moving. You know how to balance both.
Key Responsibilities
- Release & Change Governance (Dev to Prod): Serve as the final gatekeeper and Release Manager. Oversee and audit change control protocols from Development through QA, and officially approve high-risk deployments into the live Production environment.
- Technical Environment & Data Readiness: Guarantee the availability, alignment, and data integrity of all non-production environments (QA, Staging, Training). Coordinate complex data refreshes to ensure testing environments mirror Production.
- System Tooling Ownership: Drive the change lifecycle using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan / ChaRM) or SAP Cloud ALM, tracking every modification from user story to live deployment.
- Object & Feature Control: Manage "Common Object" locking and conflict resolution across multiple distinct project tracks (OTC, Make, MDG) to prevent code collision. Govern "Dormancy Activation" (dark feature management) protocols.
- Audit & MedTech Compliance: Maintain a flawless, audit-ready trail for all system changes, ensuring strict adherence to strict global healthcare regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Change Control, Release Management, or IT Governance within a large enterprise or Fortune 500 environment.
- Deep, hands-on proficiency with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), ChaRM, or Cloud ALM.
- Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, transport layers, and environment management.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional technical tracks (Order-to-Cash, Make/Manufacturing).
- Unrivaled communication, negotiation, and organizational navigation skills.
