Sales associate position selling baked goods (Banana Bread / Muffins / Cookies / Ice Cream) with availability to work our cart at Jack's Stir Brew Coffee Sag Harbor.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide top-notch customer service with a smile
-Use your humor and charisma to enhance the customer experience
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Sales person is responsible for greeting and assisting customers by inputting food/beverage orders, boxing up pastries, slicing loaves of banana bread and taking special orders
- Cashier duties - Ring up orders on POS System
- Interact with guests and have thorough knowledge of menu items to answer any questions
- Maintain stock, restock, clean, and organize counter area
- Complete opening, side, and closing duties promptly following established standard operating procedures

Job Requirements :
- A big personality and a great sense of humor
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and upsell products
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of food service experience required
- Food handlers certificate a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; legible handwriting; basic math skills
- Ability to lift 35 lbs; be on your feet for 4-8 hours a day; bend down and reach up
- Flexibility - availability to work shifts when needed
- Open to working at different shop locations
- Ability to work weekends and holidays

- Excellent work ethic and team player
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
